I cook every day. I cook almost everything I eat. It’s not difficult, it doesn’t take much time, and the results are worthwhile. The notion that cooking is “slaving over a hot stove” is pure fantasy. As a self-reliant man, taking up cooking was a purely practical matter.
I prefer to cook using traditional tools and ingredients. The only electrics I use are the microwave and the coffee grinder. No Whopper Chopper for me, no motorized salad spinner, no knife with little saw teeth either. And I don’t eat anything I can’t pronounce.
